Many of the contributors are from practitioner-oriented doctoral programs such as ours (Bartunek, 2007). New theories can be developed by allowing both scholars and practitioners to contribute content. Researchers have benefited from borrowing from other fields such as psychology, this type of benefit can also be gained from closer work with practitioners who are on the ground getting first and experience (Suddaby et al., 2011).
